IDAHO and VIETNAM WAR INDEX
Idaho lost over 217 (official National Archive count) men in the Vietnam War. When the men joined the service they put down their town of record.... which wasn't always their hometowns. So Idaho's final count will be higher.
The goal is this project is to "place faces to the names of the 217 plus Idaho men whose names are on the Vietnam Memorial Wall. I am using yearbook pictures, snapshots, military portraits, obituaries, and remembrances to commemorate the lives of these men.
The Idaho project was begun March 2004, when I learned that Mountain Home Idaho would be hosting "The Moving Wall" in June 2004.
The first Pages up are the Chronological pages. Eventually, I will have community pages available.
