Crash Victims - Private 1st Class Bobbie Joe Mounts, formerly of Springfield, and Warrant Officer Milton W. Smith, of Reedsport, this week were reported killed in South Vietnam as a result of "non-hostile causes." Mounts died in a helicopter crash 5 Jan (1968) and Smith died in the 29 Dec (1967) crash of an airplane he was piloting. Both were serving in the Army and each was 24 years old.
