Dennis L. Ziebarth Killed in Vietnam
Spec. 4 Dennis L. Ziebarth, 1701 S. 8th St. was killed in action in Vietnam 20 Nov (1970). Born 28 Jun 1950, in Hamilton, he lived in Missoula most of his life.
He attended St. Anthony School and Franklin School and was graduated in 1969 from Hellgate High School where he played tackle on the football team. He worked first as a paper carrier and then parttime in the mail department of the Missoula.
Spec. 4 Ziebarth entered the Army in 1969 and was sent to Vietnam 1 Apr 1970. He was with B Company, 173rd Battalion, 3-503rd Infantry.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Jette, Missoula; four brothers, Donald J. Ziebarth, Okinawa, and Gerald L. Jette, Edward A. Jette and John J. Jette, all of Missoula; a sister, Mrs. Vicki Lennox, Portage MI; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Langley, Thompson Falls, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services are pending the arrival of the body. Geraghty Funeral Home is in charge.
