Missoula Remembers A Butte man, Holton was a pilot who was shot down. Bobby went to school here (Missoula) at the University; went through Air Force ROTC which was in existence here then, and still should be. He was a Sigma Chi fraternity brother of mine. He was not the kind of guy I thought would be a combatant. How wrong I was. He was a gentle man, a saxophone player, and somewhat shy. He was hit with a SAM missile, and this gentle soul's life ended. Not long afterward, I obtained a POW/MIA bracelet of bobby's when I saw one of y brothers wearing it. I still have the bracelet. It was years later that Bobby was declared dead. George M. "Sonny" Gratzer, dedication speech of Missoula war Memorial, 12 Sep 1988
