Rites Slated For Private Service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Pearson's Mortuary for Pfc. Gale Eugene Craun, 20, of 19128 NE Hassalo St., who was killed in Vietnam 26 Apr (1968). Pfc. Craun was born in Portland 23 Nov 1947, and attended Clackamas and Reynolds high schools. He was active in football and swimming. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Weitzel; and two brothers, Charles and Daryle Weitzel. He will be buried in Willamette National Cemetery.
