Army Specialist Fourth Class Grady R. Nelson, 22,
husband of Julie A. Nelson of Coos Bay, was killed in action in Vietnam
23 Nov (1968) the Defense Department has announced. He is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Nelson, Olive Barber Road.
Nelson was sent to Vietnam 10 Sep this year and he

Born in Memphis TX, young Nelson was attending

In addition to his wife and parents, he is
survived by a son, Lonnie Ray, born in Coos Bay 23 days ago. He also is
survived by a brother, Carl, in the U.S. Navy in Florida, and two
