KF Army Man Killed Army Pfc. Charles Thomas Deaton of Klamath Falls died in Vietnam action Sunday. Deaton is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Willis Deaton of Klamath Falls. Other survivors include a brother, Jim Deaton; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Dale Deaton and Mrs. Ella Prentice, all of Klamath Falls. Funeral services will be announced by O'Hair's Funeral Chapel. Details of his death were not available today. (Herald and News, Klamath Falls OR, Wednesday, 1 Oct 1969)
